Here, visitors are confronted with the animals and insects that live near us. The opportunity to discover more about the stork, the frog, the mosquito or the ants. Young explorers can slip into the skin of their favorite animal, go in search of the little beasts that hide in our rooms or observe the life of an ant farm from the inside.
Equipped with a black light, children go on an expedition in a darkened room to find the little animals that are hiding there. The device allows them to discover a reality they are unaware of – or are not used to seeing – while appealing to their curiosity and surprise. It also plays on the fear of the little “beasts” that populate our daily lives.
Visitors enter an underground tunnel and become immersed in a colony of ants. Along the way, they observe the lifestyle of these little workers as well as the functioning of an ant farm.
Children can complete their discovery of the animal world with a visit to the Vaisseau garden. They will discover the bee house and a semi-transparent hive where they can observe bees and their way of life.
